About the studio

We believe a house begins on paper — and that the paper deserves real attention.

Thirty years designing homes nationwide.

Paul’s passion for architecture started in grade school and never let go. After three decades of practice — and an early career working closely with purchasing and estimating in the builder’s office — he founded the studio with one purpose: to draw plans that protect a family’s investment from the moment of the first sketch.

Every meaningful conversation about a home begins with active listening. Paul still drafts the first floor plan by hand. He believes a sketch communicates ideas with a clarity the computer can rush past — and that the right home reveals itself most quickly with a pencil.

His background on the bid side of construction means every plan he draws is reviewed for what it costs to build. The studio’s 30-year quality control checklist has been refined sheet by sheet across thousands of projects.

“A blueprint is a promise. We draw ours so the build can keep it.”

Our beliefs

Delight at every step — through careful communication.

BELIEF — I

We listen first.

A home is a record of how a family lives. Our work begins with hearing those days back to you in the form of a plan.

BELIEF — II

We draw to be built.

Plans are not estimates. They are construction instructions. We coordinate every system on paper before the slab is poured.

BELIEF — III

Budget & design, aligned.

Your budget is the design constraint we respect first. We shape the plan to honor the number you came in with — so what gets drawn is what can actually be built.

From a loyal partner

Paul is very articulate and straight to the point. He gets it. He understands it — the integrity of where the plan is going before we get a chance to get it on paper.
