Elliott Homes — The Piper Plan
An award-winning custom plan drawn for Elliott Homes' Gulf Coast portfolio — the Piper Seaside. Featured in the St. Jude Dream Home giveaway and named Best in Mississippi for Custom New Construction by the Home Builders Association of Mississippi, the plan is built around a light-filled great room that opens straight to the kitchen under a beamed ceiling. Brass-and-glass pendants, herringbone-laid wood floors, and a generous island anchor the everyday hub of the home, while a spa-like primary suite delivers the retreat the accolades are known for. A board-and-batten front elevation with paired gable trusses, deep porches, and a sage front door sets the tone before you step inside — and an outdoor kitchen with a stacked-stone fireplace extends the living past the back door.
The drawings for this home went through every phase of our process — from a Discover Meeting on the land to the final permit-ready set. Mechanical and structural systems were coordinated on paper before bid, so the contractor walked into the framing deck with a complete plan.
Every detail — eaves, trim profiles, stair sections, rough-ins — was drawn explicitly. Nothing was left to interpretation. The build came in close to estimate, on schedule, with no permit revisions required.
